Terrorist attacks hinder national election: Quader

Ruling Awami League's general secretary Obaidul Quader remarked that militant and terrorist attacks are vital problem for conducting national poll.


He came up with this assertion while speaking at the annual tuberculosis conference of National Anti Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB) at the LGED auditorium in city's Agargaon on Saturday.


Urging the country people to assist on preventing militancy of the country, Road Transport and Bridges Minister said "We are not safe if the attack happened continuously."


The minister further said "Preventing terrorist is the main challenge now, we should prevent it altogether keeping aside the mentality of separate thoughts and believes."


Chaired by NATAB President Mozaffar Hossain Paltu, the function was addressed by Directorate General of Health Services Director General Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Acme Laboratories Limited Managing Director Mizanur Rahman Sinha and NATAB General Secretary Khayer Uddin Ahmed Mukul, among others.
