Quality of education deteriorating: Khaleda

Samakal Correspondent
The quality of education in the country is being deteriorated, claimed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Pointing to the Awami League-led ruling government, she also said, 'The government has downtrodden the basic goal of education here.'

The BNP chief came up with the comments while addressing a program held over the education system in the country at the Ladies Club in Eskaton area in the capital, on Saturday afternoon.

The quality of education has been deteriorated as the government showed the increased pass rate in the public examination over the years only for their self-satisfaction, she criticized.

While speaking in the program, she also added, 'If we cannot overcome the situation soon, our advancement will be thwarted and the country will fall behind in the international arena.'

She also shared her party vision and plan about the education of the country at that time citing her 'Vision 2030'.

Moudud Ahmed, Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Selima Rahman and Abdul Mannan of the party were also present at that time.
