Arrange credible polls, Fakhrul to govt.

Pointing to the ruling Awami League-led government, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said, 'Arrange a free, fair and credible national election in the country that will be acceptable to the people of home and abroad.'


'Otherwise an overwhelming mass movement will be launched in the country against the government,' he warned again.


The Senior BNP leader came up with the warning while speaking at the party's member collection program held in Thakurgaon on Friday night.


'Take steps for holding a free, fair and credible election in the country under a non-party administration through dialogue,' he also told the program.


He, while, speaking in the program also slammed the government over kidnapping incident of noted writer Farhad Mazhar.
