Gold price goes up again

Country's gold prices have continued to climb up again and again.


The gold prices have been increased again in the country after it is last increased in July this year.


A press release of the Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS), has confirmed, in this regard on Saturday.


According to the new rates, each bhori of 11.664 grammes of 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 48, 638 while it was Tk 47,122 in the last climbing by July, according to the release published today.


The prices of gold will be effective from August 13 (Sunday), the release adds.


The price of 21-carat would be sold at Tk 46, 480 while it was Tk 45,198 and 18-carat would be sold at Tk 40, 825 from now when it was Tk 39,658 in the previous rate.
